What is Konad Stamping Nail Art?

Konad Stamping Nail Art is the latest craze in decorating your nails.  It is fun, fashionable, and cost-effective!  Ask yourself the following questions:

Konad Stamping Nail Art is a revolutionary new system for making your nails gorgeous!  You select a design from one of the many available image plates, cover it with the Special Stamping Polish, scrape the excess polish off with the provided scraper, then transfer the design to the stamper.  Then you transfer the design from the stamper to your nail (painted or unpainted) and voila!  You have a beautiful design on your nail that dries instantly!  You can also add rhinestones or stamp multiple images on your nails for custom designs that are limited only by your imagination.

In a nutshell...how does it work?

Konad Stamping Nail Art is a system!  Choose one of about 80 available image plates, which have about 7 designs on each plate.  Then coat the image you want to use with Konad Special Stamping Nail Polish (available in many colors), scrape off the excess and use the stamper to transfer the image to your nail.  This special polish is 5 times thicker than regular nail polish, so it transfers well and gives you a thick, clear design.  You can't polish your nails with it - it is so viscous, it would never dry!  You can use regular nail polish to make the image, however, it will not be as nice or transfer as well as the Konad polish.  If you don't want to use natural, unpainted nails, you should paint your nails with a good quality lacquer (like O.P.I.) first, then stamp the designs with the Konad Special Stamping Polish.  Follow up with a coat of Konad's Top Coat - it is specially formulated not to smear the designs or colors.  You can use any brand top coat if you'd like, but many brands have been found to smear the images and colors!

 

 

The image plates (pictured above) are thin, round stainless steel plate with the designs laser-etched into them.  When you cover the desired image with the special polish, then scrape off the excess with the scraper (in the image above on the left), you are pushing a very thin layer of polish into the design on the disk.  The soft stamper surface (pictured above on the left) then picks up the design, which is transferred to your nail.  It is because of this very thin layer of polish that it dries so quickly and looks so great!
